Membership
Women's Voice has a number of founder members and, currently, 2 categories of membership:
- Members
- Mainly all-Wales organisations, groups, networks
- Associate members (non voting)
- Smaller, more localised organisations groups, networks
All membership applications are put to the Women's Voice Management Committee, which meets quarterly – or to the Chair for action between meetings. Membership is currently free.
What will membership of Women's Voice give you?
- More women in public life
- Women's Voice works with the Wales Assembly Government and other relevant organisations to increase the number of women who are members of public bodies in Wales
- Consultation
- Women's Voice involves members in Assembly consultative activities, particularly in the three core areas
- Getting your voice heard
- Women's Voice's Policy Officer works with members and other groups to identify issues of concern to women in Wales
- Member mailings, Annual review and Newsletter
- Women's Voice regularly sends member mailings by email and produces an Annual Review
- Meetings
- Women's Voice invites members to meetings and events
- Voluntary Sector Partnership Scheme
- Women's Voice represents gender on the Wales Assembly Government's Voluntary Sector Scheme
