Speaking up for Women in Wales
Site navigation:
Women in Wales will never achieve their full potential and equality while their lives remain disproportionately blighted by violence, poverty and exclusion from public life. Women's Voice concentrates its efforts on 3 core themes in which to campaign for changes in women's lives:
The importance of getting women into public life in Wales and having our voices heard is critical for all women in Wales.
Women and poverty is a major issue in Wales as well as being a global issue as a whole. Women's average wages and pension are still far lower than men's. Women suffer from the poverty of opportunity meaning that they lack access to training, advice and support to progress their careers.
Women's Voice campaigns to end all forms of violence against women by organising events, working in partnership with other specialised agencies.
Wales Women's National Coalition is the independent umbrella organisation dedicated to placing female concerns and interests at the heart of Government.
